We are looking for an Electrical Estimator/Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Managing projects on estimates won
2. Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
3. Attend pre-bid meetings and/or tour job sites to confirm requisite take-offs. Interface with potential clients on bid walks.
4. Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including information on pricing from suppliers obtained through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, software uploads, etc.
5. Support other department personnel as required; may include assisting with estimates in other disciplines.
6. May review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and/or availability of materials
7. May provide support to field operations regarding electrical estimates.
Qualification Requirements:
1. 2+ years of experience estimating and managing electrical construction projects.
2. Must have electrical commercial construction project experience.
3. Must have stable employment history.
4. Be willing to travel as needed.
5. Working knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control.
6. Ability to manage a team and their expectations.
7. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the electrical industry.
8. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer skilled in Commercial & Industrial Projects
Qualification Requirements:
1. Be able to read & study electrical plans and implement them on the site.
2. If necessary, be able to correct or improve the electrical design.
3. Facilitate as part of the team & provide technical advice.
4. Have knowledge of building codes and assist in making sure codes are being met onsite.
5. Be able to assist in detecting potential issues on projects.
6. Be able to calculate cost of projects and assist in scheduling of delivery dates for supplies.
7. Use computer software to review and modify electrical plans.
8. Work with clients, project managers, and field personnel.
